New to user experience?

This introductory one-day course will give you a grounding in the fundamentals of user experience (UX) to use as a team of one, or as part of a wider team. You'll gain a proper understanding of user experience, usability, information architecture and user-centred design (UCD).

You'll learn all about the stages of the UCD process, discovery, design and evaluation, as well as the principles of user-centred design and the UX tools and techniques you can use. Help your business to achieve its goals by becoming a customer-centric organisation.

    Define the performance metrics to allow you and stakeholders to know if your solutions are working, and that you're achieving business objectives
  • Communicate findings
    Present to stakeholders and put together the right types of research deliverables
  • Promote UX across your organisation
    Build a UX team that has the right cultural fit and encourage a user-centred culture within your team and the wider organisation

Meet Andy Ingle, one of your trainers

Andy has over 15 years' experience in digital and user experience design. He's an expert in developing products based on user research and business requirements, and helping our clients understand the rationale behind our design and strategy decisions.

A UX veteran, Andy has led projects for Confused.com to reinvent the price comparison experience, and Virgin Trains East Coast to completely overhaul their customer experience strategy.

Andy is one of our most experienced trainers and loves to share his passion for all things UX, along with his many project stories and insights.

Courses start at 10am and finish at 4.30-5pm.
