Senior Experience Consultant
I'm a designer, which really means a problem solver. I work closely with clients to transform their ideas into customer-wowing products and services.
I kicked off my time at Webcredible leading a vision and discovery project for Amazon Web Services, developing their service idea from early proposition testing through to a validated proof of concept. I've led a range of research and design projects here for companies, such as a project for SSE that raised online broadband package conversion rates 200%, and the design of the Virgin Trains Alexa skill, the first skill in the UK to use Amazon Pay.
I have an academic and technical background with a dual bachelors degree in psychology and computer science and a masters in human-computer interaction. I've worked in psychological research at New York University, and later found my biggest passion in emerging tech, exploring this in Silicon Valley at Singularity University. I went on to lead the UX & Innovation Lab team at American Express where I directed R&D in emerging technology and breakthrough areas.
I'm a designer day and night and am always interested in new uses for technology. Prior to Webcredible, I created a web-based therapy system which won funding from Santander and Singularity University's "Grand Challenge" prize. I'm also often making Twitter bots that you can see by following me by clicking on the link to the right - reach out and say hi!
My goal is to make technology easy to use for anyone. I always think experiences will get better as technology improves and increases.
