Today has been a very exciting day as – after months in development – we’ve finally launched our new logo. And here it is:
(You may notice that it looks slightly different to the logo on the website. When there isn’t sufficient space for the bubbles to sit above the logo then we have an alternate version with them to the side.)
We’ve had our previous logo now for over 5 years and back then it suited us perfectly. We were much smaller as a company, working with smaller clients on more tactical projects. We wanted a logo that made us look different and helped us get noticed, whilst also capturing our energy levels – and at the time we felt the logo succeeded in this and we loved it.
Times move on though and whilst we still have the same levels of energy and enthusiasm that we did 5 years ago, we’ve now outgrown our logo and brand identity. Webcredible now works with large, household-name organisations, advising senior stakeholders on a strategic basis. So we need a logo and an identity that fits in with this.
So why this logo, what does it say? Well, a few things:
Our offline marketing materials have all been revamped and we’ll be doing a proper website redesignwith a launch scheduled for the new year. For now, we’ve just made minor modifications so as to fit the new logo into our existing design.
Also, and sadly for me, our resident cartoon characters The Webcredibles are no longer (this is the last link to them that you’ll see on the site). They sadly no longer fit in with our new look. We did consider making one final cartoon of them being killed by an evil baddie but decided not to in the end.
We sent out sneak preview of our logo last week to our Twitter followers and the feedback was generally pretty positive. Anyway, we’d love to hear what you think of our new look so please leave a comment below…
