What's happening at Webcredible

by Trenton Moss on 3 July 2013
June has been especially exciting at Webcredible; we have organised and run our first large user experience event, welcomed no less than three new consultants, won a plethora of new and exciting projects and released our latest industry report

As well as attending and presenting at a few industry events we also ran our own event, The Customer Experience Forum. The culmination of months of work this event was a first for us, both in terms of size and content. The day itself was made up of keynotes, from brands like Dulux and Orange, as well as workshops run by our own user experience consultants and other industry professionals. Workshops topics included Future Trends, Mobile user experience and user experience strategy. I feel we pulled it off, there will always be room for improvement but I think the day as a whole was brilliant and I hope people really learnt from us and their peers.

New starters

As I have mentioned in my previous monthly updates Webcredible are growing and we have been recruiting for some time (not always an easy process!). However, I am incredibly excited that I can now welcome two new user experience consultants to the team, Davina (@davinagifford) and Carrie. We are not stopping here! In the coming months we will be welcoming another user experience consultant and a project manager.

New industry report

July also saw the release of our latest industry report, university websites - who is making the UX grade? This report takes a look at 10 universities in the UK and grades them on the user experience of their digital presence. It's one of my favourite Webcredible reports so far and has had exposure in Bloomberg Business Week, Universities News and BizReport.
