Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing Christmas break and are looking forward to a great 2013. We had a very busy 2012 and 2013 is panning out to be an even better year.
We've had an exciting year working with some great clients in a number of industries including charity, leisure & entertainment, B2B, and financial services. We also launched our new website and branding, which was shortly followed by our mobile responsive site too! So lots of hard work all round, which we duly celebrated with a fantastic Christmas party, which of course culminated with a traditional Karaoke session. We also started a series of internal events to keep knowledge sharing and innovation at a high in the business. Skill swaps are now a regular event for our team, covering topics such as photography, cartography, technology trends and how to give good feedback!
Excitingly for our consultants we have a number of huge projects lined up with an emphasis on research-based design and strategy, we are thrilled that the user experience industry is really maturing and moving away from tactical projects. We are also delivering a lot of corporate training this year, sharing our expertise with our clients to up-skill their staff in user experience, digital marketing and web development. Continuing on from last years event calendar, we are planning a number of expert-led seminars and roundtables for 2013 as well as a number of charity events. Our Macmillan coffee morning was a great success and one that shouldn't be missed this year! Don't forget to sign up to our newsletter to get the latest on our upcoming events. I'll also be out and about sharing some of our latest research findings this year, with any luck I will meet up with many of you at industry events. We are also reviewing our Training Academy this year and have already launched a new course on Ethnography to help you get to grips with this research method and bring it into your working practices. I hope you all have a very prosperous and enjoyable 2013 and see you around soon!
