We are half way through 2011 (already!) and it has been a great year so far with weddings, bank holidays, and this month we have had the inevitable rain at Glastonbury ,rain at Ascot Lady’s day, and rain at Wimbledon.
At Webcredible we have had another great month, June has seen us visit our new office on Southwark Street, we have mapped out the walls, desks, and huge movable white boards with masking tape. Now all we need is to decide on the chairs, interior branding and graphics, and get it all put in – shouldn’t take long, we hope! We will of course keep you posted with the progress and the all important move date.
We have also been recruiting this month (which means we have now run out of spare desks) and have added Clair Syme, our new Account Director and Terry Arnold, our new Head of Business Development to the team. Continuing with the theme of our great team, we have had a month of socialising and team building. Firstly, we had a soggy Sunday Webcredible BBQ for all of the team and their families. There was a lot of food and despite the rain, a great atmosphere. This was followed a few weeks later by a great Webcredible Day, starting the day discussing company values, followed by circus training, and moving on to Karaoke in the evening! Great team building event and everyone is looking forward to the next one!
In addition to all of this we found the time to present at Marketing Week Live! Pete, our Head of UX and Gemma, our Marketing Manager gave a great presentation “I’m sticking with you…” user experience at the heart of customer loyalty. If you missed it then email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can send you a copy. As well as working hard with our clients, our consultants have also been out and about mediating discussions and presenting at UX Camp Europe and Lightning UX. Watch this space as I think they are all getting a taste for it and will be popping up in more UX, design, and games conferences in the near future.
Finally, our online travel booking poll results have been revealed! Price proved to be the most important factor when booking holidays online, closely followed by user generated content / reviews from real people! We have a new poll out now! It is looking into the influences that encourage us to download apps… take part in the poll and see what is coming out top!
