What's happening at Webcredible

by Trenton Moss on 3 May 2011

Now that the Royal Wedding has been and gone and the 2-week period filled with bank holidays is complete, it’s finally time to get back to work proper. The country seems to have pretty much come to a standstill recently so we enter into May with a surprising amount of energy having been well rested in late-April.

Our first point of focus this month is recruitment of new staff. Specifically, we’re creating for 2 new roles:

  • Account director – You’ll work closely with a Webcredible director to ensure strategic success with our ongoing client relationships
  • Head of business development – You’ll develop and implement the business development strategy, being responsible for generating new leads and closing sales

If either of these sound good to you, or you know anyone that you think would be interested then let us know! CVs should be sent to jobs@webcredible.co.uk.

As well as recruiting, we’re getting ourselves ready for our 5th appearance at Internet World on 10-12 May at Earl’s Court. The show is billed as Europe’s leading event for digital marketing and online business, with 300+ solution providers and 12,000 visitors. We’re doing a couple of presentations there too, Selling through mobile websites and User Experience – beyond usability. Our presentations are always really great – lively, fun and highly educational. If you’re attending the show then be sure to check out these presentations and do also swing by our stand.

Despite the general relaxed nature of the past couple of weeks, we’ve still kept ourselves busy in April. In addition to our usual set of client work and training, we also presented at the Design & Build, Usability, and UCD event put on by Figaro. It was great to meet so many of you and our presentation seemed to be generally well received.
