As we move into the 2nd month of 2011, the start of the new year seems but a distant memory. After recovering from the Christmas and New Year break, we’re most certainly back into the swing of things here at Webcredible. January has flown by as we’ve kicked off a number of new projects and, as usual, it’s all hands on deck ploughing through our client projects.
As well as focusing on project work, we seem to have spent an enormous amount of time working on new business pitches. We’re supposed to be in the worst recession since the 1930s yet there seems to be so much work available within the digital space right now.
As we’re as busy as ever – and with all this potential new business – we’ve decided it’s time to recruit more staff. We’re currently on the look-out for a UX consultant, with the role involving working on a variety of challenging usability, IA & design projects for household name clients. We’re also recruiting asenior consultant, which involves leading on projects, supervising consultants and helping manage client relations. Webcredible is a great place to work (although I’m a bit biased) so have a read through the job descriptions and send over your CV!
I also found some time this month to go and present at a B2B Marketing event. I did a presentation on user research methodologies, before going on to review some of the audience’s websites (which they didn’t know was going to happen!).
Finally, please take a moment to vote in our poll, this month asking what would make you more likely to book a holiday online. It only takes 5 seconds and by voting you’ll be able to see the results so far.
