To say November has been a busy month for us is somewhat of an understatement: Following the success of our responsive design with paper workshop (and the tireless work of our web developer) our website is now fully responsive, give it a go and let us know what you think! We have also authored a new report - 'The State of VoD in 2012', an update on our previous research the subject. Last but by no means less important is that our office is being redecorated! We have replaced white with the company colours and are eagerly awaiting the wall decorations. It's going to look glorious.
We attended two external events this month, Charity Tech and Figaro Digital, as well as hosting some internal events of our own. Figaro Digital (#figdigconf) was a brilliant event. I presented on omnichannel, 21 slides in 21 seconds. If you are interested in seeing our Prezi, it will be available shortly in a separate post. Smaller but no less interesting was Charity tech (#CharityTech). We work with a lot of charity and non-profit clients so it was great to learn about tech innovation in the charity sector. Internally we also busy with events. November was the month of our annual team day which took place at a local Hotel. Despite the lack of any heating we had a productive time exploring the future of Webcredible and working on our collective 'vision' and 'mission'. This was was followed by a meal and drinks at The Garrison in Bermondsey street. Then was our fortnightly skill swap. Rich delivered a presentation on GIS and mapping, something that is much more interesting than you might think.
A fact I'm sure has not escaped you is that Christmas is fast approaching. Secret Santa has been organised, our Christmas meal is booked and we just ordered a tree. A real one. We will also be doing our bit for charity this Christmas. We are taking part in Save the Children's 'Christmas Jumper Day' so watch out for pictures of Webcredible's in some truly tasteless homemade jumpers!
