People are engaging more and more with voice assistants and all the predictions are for these devices to become integrated into our every day lives. To succeed in this exciting space, it's important to go back to user-centred principles.

Our hands-on 1-day course will help you define the most useful use cases for voice and a high-level voice UI, all based on business goals and user needs. We'll bring real-world insight based on designing voice experiences for lots of our clients. 

During the training course you'll learn how to:

  • Pick the right use case for voice
    Some interactions are better suited for voice than others. Going through our time-tested principles, you'll discover which of the services that your brand offers have the biggest potential of becoming successful voice apps
  • Design voice interactions that are usable and delightful
    We'll go through examples of both well-designed and poorly-designed voice interactions, so you can discover for yourself how designing for voice is different to designing for a screen
  • Sketch out the scenarios and flows of your voice app
    You'll want your voice app to respond to a range of things that people might say, and to respond appropriately. We'll show you how to plan for every scenario, including when users say something unexpected 
  • Prototype voice experiences
    With a range of easy to use prototyping tools (including your own voice!), you'll discover how to demonstrate your vision for your voice app to your colleagues and users
  • Test and launch your voice app
    As with any experience, voice apps need testing too! We'll show you how to involve users in the process and iterate toward a successful launch
