Optimising mobile experiences

We mix teaching and collaborative exercises so you'll learn the principles of designing for smartphones and tablets. The course is taught by experts who spend our days creating amazing mobile and omnichannel experiences.

    Learn to understand people's expectations, create user journeys and experience maps, and work out the best mobile presence for your organisation
  • Design mobile navigation
    Create circulating systems, signage and common navigation patterns
  • Use mobile design principles
    Learn the do's and don'ts of design for touch, including conventions around in-built mobile functionalities. Decide between adaptive and responsive layouts 
  • Put it all into practice tomorrow
    Prototype your solutions to test with real users. Learn about the different tools you can use and how to do usability testing to achieve the best solutions

Meet Alex Lillo, your trainer

Alex is a highly experienced UX consultant who designs interfaces, and leads large customer experience and user-centred design projects for our clients. His 10 years' of end-to-end experience in digital design, from research to delivery, gives him a broad perspective that helps him find holistic solutions to complex problems.

As an Experience Lead at Webcredible, he heads up teams for some of Webcredible's largest client projects. A very hands-on team leader, he can often be found running research and creating some of the most amazing user journeys, information architectures and designs.

As a trainer, Alex always makes sure you understand and buy-in to what you're learning, guiding and facilitating participants to come up with the answers themselves. The best trainers aren't the ones that speak all the time!

Duration

Courses start at 10am and finish at 4.30-5pm.
